Wild Entertaining in Bluefield, WV

Tuesday, July 8th, 2008

WOW - what a great time we had performing for the nice folks in Bluefield, WV!  They loved our variety of Country music, touching on the styles of New and Classic Country, Rockabilly, Southern Rock and the Blues.

I was plunking on the basses (upright and electric) for Adam Pope and dancing up a storm (literally!  lol).  What a fun entertainer, full of energy and that certain something that tells me he’s going to be going places in this music business.  Check out more about Adam on http://www.myspace.com/adampopemusic and http://adampopemusic.com/

The things we learned along the way setting up this gig will make a great learning story and I’ll post them in a separate page on this site.  There are so many little details that need to be addressed and followed-through on that perhaps by me listing them it may help other bands/artists get a better handle on their own gigging.  Look for that page sometime soon!  Right now I’m beat and need to rest up and practice for our next gig this Friday night at Mullets in Portland, TN (details on my Gigs page)  :)

Bye for now-
